The Uprising released Seven as their first full debut album on August 1st, 2014. The album was named after the fan favorite song, Seven, and also contained seven songs in total. The song was beloved for its bluesy tones and soulful delivery, a genre that contrasted the usual hard-rock catalog of original music The Uprising was known for. The rest of the album contained songs that had been a part of the band as long as some of the bands members, as well as some newer creations. The album was produced, mixed, and mastered by Stephen Kraus, an industry veteran known for his work in popular movie cinema.
